Live Arts welcomes patrons with limited mobility or assistive devices including wheelchairs. Call the Box Office [434.977.4177 x 108] to ensure a most comfortable visit. Elevator access to all 4 floors.

24 hours a day, via phone [434.977.4177 x 108] or web. In person, Tuesday through Friday, 11am till 2pm, and then reopening one hour prior to curtain.
Concessions »
All performances feature concessions including snacks, sodas, beer and wine.
Downstage »
The larger of our 2 theaters; seats 200. Patrons enter on the second floor.
Families »
Contact Ronda, our Education Director, to find out which shows in the season are good family fare. Our performances are not appropriate for children 5 and under.
Gifts »

Typically opens 30 minutes prior to curtain. Our lobby typically opens one hour prior to curtain.
Latecomers »
Our shows start promptly and we will seat latecomers at the first appropriate pause. For some performances, late seating is not possible until intermission.

You will find further information about running times, and adult themes, language, and content posted in our lobby. As a courtesy to patrons with particular sensitivities, we always post warnings for physical aspects to include gunshots, loud noises, onstage smoking, fog and haze machines and strobe lights. This information is also available by phone.
‘Pay-What-You-Can’ »
Live Arts has offered this option for over a decade and we are committed to access for all regardless of income. Every Wednesday we reserve half the house for Pay-What-You-Can tickets, and these are available on the day of show, in person only, with a limit of 2 per customer. We welcome any admission price you are able to pay. We are grateful to Tom and Onnie Baldwin, Robert and Suzanne Brooks, C&O Restaurant, C-Ville Weekly, Formwork Design, The Ix Foundation, M3 Inc., Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company, R.E. Lee & Son Co., and Kitty and Bob Stroud for their support of Pay-What-You-Can performances.

Our partners at C-Ville Weekly sponsor 100 free tickets for the Thursday night show prior to Opening Night. These tickets are available in person only from their office which is on the Downtown Mall. 2 per customer; no phone calls, please.
Recording Devices »
We can not allow still or video cameras or any other recording device at any performance.
Refunds »
Once purchased, tickets may neither be refunded nor exchanged. Our Box Office will gladly resell your donation of tickets you are unable to use, and will provide documentation for a tax deduction.
Reservations »
We are unable to make reservations without purchase. Tickets for each show go on sale 2 weeks prior to Opening Night. Gift ticket coupons for all show are available anytime and may be redeemed for actual seats starting 2 weeks prior to Opening Night.
Rentals »
Our space is available for rent for private functions, including parties, dinners, and meetings. Contact Row, our Production Manager, at [434.977.4177 x 107] for rates and availability.

Most patrons find ordering by phone to be most convenient and 90% of our sales are on the phone. Our Box Office line [434.977.4177 x 108] offers a secure voice mailbox and secure handling of credit card information.

Our smaller theater features general admission to 70 seats. Entrance is on the third floor.
