Description:

Calling all teens! This season’s LATTE production, Mother Hicks by Susan L. Zeder, is holding auditions soon and it needs YOU. Last season’s production of Visit to a Small Planet was a huge success — so come and join the fun by getting involved in this exciting project.

Mother Hicks
Directed by Tanya K. Manwill
Performance Dates: February 19 – March 7
AUDITIONS: November 15 and 16 at 7 pm

Teen Cast: Looking primarily for 7 to 9 teenagers ages 13 -18, male and female. Could also consider pre-teens for some roles (ages 11 and 12). One hearing impaired/sign language teen actor. One Mother Hicks, age undetermined. Come to the auditions dressed to move.

Through poetry, music, and sign language, teens tell the story of three outsiders in 1930’s rural America in Susan L. Zeder’s moving, mysterious Mother Hicks.

New teen actors are welcome! Scripts are available to be checked out at the Live Arts offices on the 4th floor during office hours. All auditions are at Live Arts.
