Youth Classes

For 10 years, Live Arts has created unique opportunities for young actors to gain training and experience live performance. We offer classes for youngsters with and without theater backgrounds, for everyone 8 and up. Young actors can learn from theater professionals, make new friends, and develop a life long passion for the performing arts. In after school classes, productions or summer camps, we provide a nurturing and safe environment in which to grow as an actor. Adult Classes

Everything that happens in and around Live Arts can easily be categorized as “education.” We offer structured programs for acting, technical theater, and musical theater that are fun, effective,and affordable. And for us? Well, it’s not entirely altruistic: our theater training classes also serve as a hothouse for our full-on stage productions. If you saw A Little Night Music, In the Blood, or The Goat or Who Is Sylvia? at Live Arts, you saw cast members onstage who cut their chops in our very own classrooms. For adults, Live Arts offers an ongoing series of Actor’s Labs and technical theater instruction.
