Performances of DNA (Student Edition): |
Additional InformationThe Live Arts Teen Theater Ensemble (L.A.T.T.E.) was created in January 1998 by the first EVER Live Arts Education Director, Lydia Horan, to highlight young performers working together to produce amazing pieces of devised theater. This intensive gives teen campers an opportunity to enjoy the camp experience while producing a 60-minute, Black Box style production of DNA (Student Edition) by Dennis Kelly, edited by Claire Finburgh Delijani. About the Play: When a group of young friends are faced with a terrible accident, they deliberately make the wrong choices to cover it up and find themselves in an unusually binding friendship where no one will own up to what they’ve done. DNA centers on friendship, morality, and responsibility in odd circumstances. Participants will audition on the first day of camp using sides from the script. Those who choose not to act will become stage managers, assistant directors, and/or designers. Need-based financial aid is available. Apply using our financial aid form. Learn More |
Campers are split up based on age to focus on skills including musical theater, storytelling, stage presence, and working as an ensemble. Techie teens have the opportunity for hands-on experience in production design, technical theater, and stagecraft!
