Part of Live Arts’ commitment to Education and Forging Community includes developing future theater artists both on stage and behind the scenes. Every season we chose a show or shows to pair teenagers with experienced theater professionals in order to learn about a technical aspect of theater. This season both The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and The Wolves are Mentor/Apprentice shows.

Teens interested in applying to be Apprentices should

THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME at Live ArtsThe Live Arts Mentor/Apprentice Program provides a unique, hands-on opportunity for teens to learn the crafts of direction, stage management, and theater design while working on a mainstage production alongside experienced designers and staff to create the look, sound, and feel of our productions.

We offer apprenticeships in the following categories:

Audition Dates: November 4th and 5th
Rehearsals Start: Week of November 12th
Performance Dates: February 1st- February 23rd

THE WOLVES at Live ArtsProduction Meetings for The Wolves (including Mentors and Apprentices) Start:
Wednesday, December 12th from 5pm to 6pm
Audition Dates: November 19th and 20th
Rehearsals Start: Week of January 2nd
Performance Dates: March 8th – March 30th
