A new series of vibrant community events on the third Friday night of every month, located on the 4th floor rooftop terrace of Live Arts off the downtown mall. Each month features something different – from improv and karaoke to trivia or a happy hour! Produced and hosted by community members, “FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE ARTS!” seeks to provide opportunities for local talent and to advance the mission of forging theater and community.

Bent Theatre Comedy returns to Live Arts for Friday Night Live Arts! Bent Theatre has been Central Virginia’s source for improv comedy since 2004, providing shows, classes, training, team building, and so much more. Their shows are always unique; “You Say It, & We Play It” means performers take your suggestions and turn them into hilarious scenes on the spot, in the style of Whose Line Is It Anyway? Nothing is scripted, so anything is possible! There are so many ways to #GetBent.
