Instructions and Materials
- mask pattern printed (choose the Mime pattern or the Meh Face)
- cardboard (cereal box recommended, pizza box, takeout box, etc)
- string or ribbon or elastic for strap
Printable Pattern 1
- egg carton
- aluminum foil
- scrap cardboard
- newspaper
- color paper
- sequins
- string
- scrap fabric
- scissors
- stapler/staples
- tape
- craft glue and/or glue gun
- hot glue gun (optional)
- box cutter/exacto knife for cutting eye holes (optional)
September 25: Paper Mâché Insects with Jum Jirapan
Materials:
- Paper (old envelopes, magazines, recycling, paper towels, toilet paper, etc)
- Masking tape (easiest) or clear tape
- Glue (white glue, wood glue, homemade glue (use the cornstarch recipe or the Flour and water recipe, and you can use either right away, without waiting overnight)
- Scissors
Optional materials:
- Tin foil (helpful for shape, not necessary)
- Wire (for legs)
- Cardboard (paper tubes, cereal boxes, tissue boxes, egg cartons, etc)
- Paint and brushes (to decorate)
- Craft sealer (for a more durable project)
- Magnet (if you want to make a fridge magnet
- String or strap to make into a key chain or ornament
