Putting the playwright center stage.
WATERWORKS leaps into its third year of celebrating new theatrical voices with a three-week festival, putting the playwright at center stage and diversifying the stories told on the Charlottesville stage. WATERWORKS 2025 will include Spotlight pieces developed throughout the Season, including MARIA KENT AND THE SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE presented by the 2025 Live Arts Teen Theater Ensemble (LATTE).
WATERWORKS also features Locally Sourced, the annual short play festival showcasing short original pieces developed by Live Arts Playwrights’ Lab, plus a multitude of readings, workshops, and much more!
