July 12-28, 2019
No day but today.
Jonathan Larson’s Tony award-winning musical is inspired by Puccini’s LA BOHÈME. It’s a rock ‘n’ roll musical; it’s a grunge opera. They are a new bunch of young bohemians and they’re living in America at the end of the millennium. When the power
is cut from their apartment building, tenants become squatters, squatters become protesters, artists become rebels, and lovers become heroes.
So how do you measure a year? In daylights? In sunsets? In midnights? In cups of coffee? With RENT at Live Arts, we measure in love.
One of the nicest things about seeing RENT…is that when you leave, you feel a genuine link between theater and life.
