Silas Byrne first moved to Charlottesville with his fiancée Lauren Ryan in the mid-90s to get his MBA from UVA’s Darden School of Business. Work in vendor negotiations and finance, including stints at the Goodkind Pen Company, the Federal Reserve Bank, AXA Equitable, and finally investment management with Vesta Capital, meant moving to New York. But he always loved Charlottesville, and in 2010 he and now wife Lauren moved back, along with daughters Margaret and Rose. In his spare time Silas is an avid fan of UVA sports.
