An astonishment … bristling with chills and suspense.” —The New York Times

Rose arrives uninvited at the isolated English coastal cottage of Hazel and her husband Robin, two retired nuclear scientists. They’ve been trying to live a normal life; Robin takes care of the cows, Hazel does yoga, even though they live only a few miles outside an environmental disaster “exclusion zone.”

Kirkwood’s pressure-cooker of a play demands that we consider our generational and social responsibilities, and the reparations we may owe to those who follow.
