Susan is honored to join the Live Arts staff as the new artistic director! She comes to Charlottesville from the San Francisco Bay Area where she served as artistic director at Eastenders Repertory Company, the Douglas Morrisson Theatre, and Town Hall Theatre. In the Bay Area, she also directed at Contra Costa Civic Theatre and with Actors Reading Writers, and enjoys ongoing collaborations with solo artist Carolyn Doyle, and with playwright Scott Munson (The Brecht Project). She received her undergraduate degree from Emory University, and further post-grad training at the Drama Studio London @ Berkeley.
